2023 Top Prospects

Jason Janesko  C - 2023 - Moosic, PA
East Carolina

Janesko made the trip down from Pennsylvania and it was certainly worthwhile as he found himself atop a couple leaderboards. His 7.11 60-yard as the quickest of the event as was his velocity from behind the dish, a tool that certainly stood out while also showing a short and quick stroke at the plate.

2024 Top Prospects

Michael Barham  3B - 2024 - Duncan, OK
Uncommitted

Barham did a little bit of everything throughout the weekend and showed off his arm strength wherever he went. On the mound he was up to 80 mph and tied for the event best outfield velocity (81 mph) while also showing good jump off the barrel offensively with the stick.

Tristan Bittle  OF - 2024 - Arlington, TX
Texas A&M

Bittle ranked as one of the best athletes in attendance this weekend and he showed it in his skills on both sides of the ball. He moves well on his feet to the ball and shows a quick arm with nice carry though it's with the bat that he impressed the most, showing a quick stroke with natural lift and separation to his swing and carry to the gaps.

Jayden Boyd  3B - 2024 - Jacksonville, TX
Eastfield College

Boyd is a strongly built eighth grader who knows who to incorporate that strength into his game on both sides of the ball. Though he's listed as a primary third baseman and shows juice in his bat (88 mph exit velocity) he also ran his fastball up to 84 mph with relatively low effort while mixing in a hard, late breaker.

Cody Cashon  C - 2024 - Southlake, TX
University of Houston

Cashon stood out on both sides of the ball throughout the weekend and impressed with the bat, both during BP and in live action. His hands are plenty quick and loose offensively while showing a handle for the barrel and the athleticism allows for nice defensive versatility.

Drew Dyke  RHP - 2024 - Mount Pleasant, TX
Uncommitted

One of the most physical players in attendance was primary outfielder Drew Dyke. Broad-shouldered 6-foot-1, 180-pound Dyke has an already strong arm up to 81 mph from both the outfield and on the mound while having lots of impact momentum off of the barrel when squaring contact.

Timothy Haynes  1B - 2024 - Lubbock, TX
Midland College

Haynes may be listed as a primary third baseman but he seems to have a significant amount of upside on the mound by his showing over the weekend. The righthander topped out at 79 mph with feel for a pair of secondaries and plenty of control of the strike zone.

Owen Lawson  RHP - 2024 - Gainesville, TX
Southeastern Oklahoma State

Lawson made the most of his time on the mound, showing a complete 3-pitch arsenal over his three innings. His fastball topped out at 80 mph with some running life but the confidence in his slider and changeup were just as impressive with the young righthander.

Alec Reyes  SS - 2024 - Edinburg, TX
Uncommitted

Reyes is a product of Edinburg, Texas and really impressed with his overall athleticism in the outfield and at the plate. Reyes has a simple and loose swing to go along with an arm that already produces outfield velocities up to 79 mph.

Aiden Sims  RHP - 2024 - Forney, TX
Texas A&M

Sims was excellent on the mound during his three inning stint, consistently attacking the zone while missing plenty of bats. He ran his fastball up to 81 mph and projects for more, creating nice plane while spinning a tight breaking ball for strikes.

2025 Top Prospects

Kayson Cunningham  SS - 2025 - San Antonio, TX
Texas Tech

Cunningham won't enter high school for another couple of years but his skills on the diamond already stand out amongst his peers. A lefthanded hitter, Cunningham shows a natural feel for the barrel along with fluid actions in the infield and solid skills with the glove.

Jack Ruckert  SS - 2025 - Baton Rouge, LA
Louisiana State

Ruckert is another young, projectable player who is a few years away from entering high school and will undoubtedly continue to improve until then. He shows sound actions on the left side of the diamond with some fluidity and his lefthanded stroke creates consistent barreled contact, showing the ability to go the other way with some impact.
