Carsen Williams (2023 OF, Bettendorf, IA) flashed his impressive hand speed during BP, showing that he has some projectable components to his swing. He impacts the ball well when out front, and he produced solid line drive contact up the middle when he was on time and squared.
Brady Lash (2024 LHP, Medina, MN) is an aggressive and high intent swinger with a loose and whippy barrel, and he produced some loud contact to the pull side during his round. He hit the ball hard consistently, and there seems to be some power potential present as he continues to grow and develop loft to the bat path.
Roderick Tanamor (2023 SS, Davenport, IA) utilizes a smooth operation and quiet approach in the box, and he has plenty of bat speed and strength in the swing. He displayed good feel for the barrel and delivered it on time consistently, which led to solid line drive contact towards the middle of the field.
Brock Tyler (2023 3B, Long Grove, IA) utilizes loud movements throughout his swing, but he was able to time it up well in this look, as he created loud impact to his pull side. There is a lot of length in the swing, and he can really do damage when he connects with the ball out in front of the plate. He showed the ability to elevate as well, taking a ball to the fence during his round.
Blake Daubenmier (2022 1B, Cedar Rapids, IA) has a large and projectable 6-foot-5/190-pound frame, and his long levers help create plenty of torque and bat speed within the swing. He displayed gap to gap carry off the barrel, and he can elevate the ball with ease.
Cooper Thompson (2023 SS, Marion, IL) utilizes a smooth and simple operation from the right side of the plate, and he has the tools to really improve moving forward. He does a good job of staying balanced and creating separation within the swing, and there is definite bat speed and hand quickness present.
Foster Milanowski (2022 MIF, Spring Green, WI) put together one of the most consistent rounds of the day, as he found barrel on nearly every swing. He hit gap to gap line drives and was on time with each pitch, showing impressive barrel control and a direct swing path.
Josh Ortiz (2022 RHP, Portage, IN) flashed his power potential in a big way during his round, as he sent multiple fly balls into deep left field. He has noticeable bat speed with present barrel control, and there is definite strength present in his 6-foot-1/245-pound frame.
Johnny Checheris (2023 RHP, Chanhassen, MN) is another big and physical prospect that flashed his power potential in BP, as he produced loud contact to his pull side. He is a high intent swinger and his strength really stands out, which helps him to elevate balls to his pull side with authority.
