Braylen Timmins (2022 LHP, Lancaster, TX) is a primary left handed pitcher who topped out at 85 mph on the mound but he has definite two-way potential.  The 6-2/185 athlete attacks the ball with present bat speed and plus extension through contact.

Reed South (2022 2B, Friendswood, TX) showed a very nice swing with nice timing and flow through contact.  He barreled almost every ball up with a gap to gap approach and looks like a polished, high average right handed hitter.

Ben Tryon (2023 SS, Southlake, TX) doesn't have lots of physical strength yet but he has a nice swing from the left side that uses his lower half very well to help generate bat speed.  He squared up everything and has a nice base swing to continue to  improve off of.

Game Highlights 11-Royal vs 12-White

8/7/2020

Dominic Dechant (2022 1B, Lucas, TX) showed pop in the bat and the ability to impact the ball consistently with a middle of the field approach. Driving a deep triple to straight-away centerfield in the second inning and singling to center in his final at-bat as part of a two for three day at the plate.

Carson Lorch (2022 2B, Cypress, TX) tripled and scored in his second at-bat of the day, as part of a one-for-two game at the plate.

Hayden Price (2021 RHP, Checotah, OK) worked with fastball heavy operation and commanded it to both halves well. He collected six strikeouts over three innings of work without allowing a run.

Jalen Collins (2021 OF, Cypress, TX) displays quick-twitch actions and extremely fast hands in the batter's box. He collected a double down the third baseline and a triple to left-centerfield in three at-bats on the day.

Daniel Garcia (2023 OF, Spring, TX) shows advanced barrel to ball skills at the plate, collecting three hits on the day, scoring a run, and driving in two with a deep double to leftfield in his final at-bat of the day.

Austin Haley (2023 3B, Sherman, TX) showed some thump in the barrel in a one-for-two day at the plate that included a sacrifice fly and well struck double down the leftfield line in his final at-bat.

Roberto Perez (2022 LHP, Corpus Christi, TX) proved to be a difficult out at the plate collecting a pair of singles, one to centerfield in his first at-bat and beating out an infield single in his final trip to the plate as part of a two-for-three day at the plate.

Game Highlights 13-Gold vs 14-Navy

8/7/2020

Cole Carter (2022 RHP, Flower Mound, TX) mixed three pitches with a fastball that reached 88-mph, a short biting slider and a changeup that had late down action. Worked three innings on the mound and struckou five. Also, collected a pair of hits in the game with a sharp single to centerfield in his final at-bat of the day.

Andre Poirrier (2023 SS, Lafayette, LA) showed some explosive ability on the bases and his bat provided the way to display it. He collected a pair of hits in three at-bats on the day, stoile and base and scored from second base on a wild pitch.

Reed Burkett-Schneider (2021 OF, Austin, TX) laced a screaming triple down the leftfield line in his first at-bat of the day showing the ability to hit the ball the other way with some authority.

Jeremiah Robles (2023 LHP, Irvine, CA) worked three innings on the mound with plus command, picking up four strikeouts and scattering four hits without allowing a run. He shows an easy and repeatable delivery and works well in the strike-zone with multiple pitches.

Shea Lewis (2022 OF, Lancaster, CA) mixed four pitches for strikes over two innings of work while striking out four and allowing a single hit. He even mixed in a knuckleball that he threw for strikes as part of his arsenal. The curveball and change have staying power for the future.

Matthew Espinoza (2024 RHP, San Antonio, TX) worked effectively over three innings, allowing a single hit and striking out three hitters with a deceptive crossfire operation, short takeaway and extended finish.
