Michael Sprockett (2021 C, Liberty Township, OH) has a present strong 5-10/195 pound build and an aggressive pull oriented swing that produces lots of raw bat speed. The ball is very loud coming off the barrel when he squared it up.
Max Johnson (2021 SS, Mason, OH) is a projectable switch-hitter with a smooth swing from both sides of the plate and developing bat speed. The Indiana commit will keep improving as he gets stronger.
Dylan Thatcher (2022 1B, Madeira, OH) was timed up from the first pitch and pulled some hard line drives from the left side of the plate. His swing is short and direct with good strength behind it, especially for a sophomore.
Caden Duryea (2022 OF, White Lake, MI) hits from a narrow stance with a big lower half move into contact that helps him generate plenty of bat speed. As a 6-3/180 left handed hitter with tons of room to get stronger, there's lots of physical projection here.
Ty Uchman (2023 LHP, Grand Rapids, MI) is a young primary pitcher but the left handed hitter has a chance as a two-way player, especially as his 6-1/160 frame fills out. He has a well timed and loose swing with present bat speed.
Cole Lindow (2022 OF, Frankenmuth, MI) has a short and quick swing from the left side and feasted on balls on the inside half of the plate. He has good strength for a sophomore and the ball came off the barrel hard.
Joshua Kross (2021 C, Medina, OH) is one of the strongest players at the showcase, with a well proportioned 6-2/210 build. He's a switch-hitter who uses his strength well to generate bat speed and power from both sides of the plate and especially the left side.
Connor Ostrander (2022 SS, Granger, IN) is a left handed middle infielder with hitter's twitchy hands that generate bat speed without creating length. He peppered line drives from gap to gap with good carry.
Dougie Zang (2021 2B, Cincinnati, OH) had one of the simpler and repeatable approaches we saw Saturday, with very good barrel control and ability to square the ball up. He looks like a high average hitter with some developing strength in his swing.
Brock Porter (2022 RHP, Milford, MI) is a primary pitcher but also a high level athlete with present strength. He takes a full healthy swing and gets lots of carry and lift to the middle of the field.
Braden Gebhardt (2022 LHP, Warren, OH) might have been the best of the many strong hitting pitchers. The strong 6-2/200 sophomore really drove the ball hard when he was able to clear his hips and turn the barrel on balls out front.
Gavin Moczydlowsky (2023 RHP, New Boston, MI) shows very good raw bat speed for a freshman and gets big jump off the barrel. He'll have to simplify his right handed approach to make consistent game contact but the bat speed was there.
Dominick Agate (2023 3B, New Lenox, IL) is another promising freshman with good present strength and plenty more to come on his 6-0/170 build. He has solid present bat speed with a line drive swing plane.
