WWBA Freshman World Scout Notes: Day 1

Ethan Rathmann (2026, Windermere, Fla.) displayed some loud tools batting leadoff for Power Baseball. The Miami commit stung one to the left-center gap for an easy standup double and followed it up with another loud knock that same way. Enticing traits and some evident twitch at his size. Present hand speed, turns the barrel over and stays in-sync with his lower half. Big tools across the board with advanced speed and athleticism that plays in all facets. Wrecks havoc on the paths or roaming center field. Rathmann fits a top-of-the-order profile with his blend of loud contact and speed. He’s a solid get for Miami.
