The Prospect League continued to prove its worth in the collegiate summer league circuit. Housing 16 teams in its league, that provided a quality home to players from across the county and hosting players from each level of college baseball. In 2021, the Prospect League saw an expansion from 12 to 16 teams, and furthermore gained quality excitement and gameplay to each and every one of its communities.

The Danville Dans were announced as league champions of the regular season, hosted a 40-17 record during that time frame. They were led by numerous talents across the board, nearing the top of each statistical category. The Dans nearing swept the postseason awards as well, winning Pro Prospect of the Year, Starting Pitcher of the Year, and Reliever of the Year.
