Dawson Parton (2026, York, S.C.) got the start for the 5 Star Carolina 15U Santiago in the quarterfinals round of the playoffs, and put the team on his shoulders from pitch one. He has a well-balanced delivery to the plate with excellent command of all these pitches, locating the fastball to both sides of the plate and mixing in a change-of-pace breaking ball to keep the hitters off balance all game, inducing weak contact. Parton went five innings and struck out four, helping his team advance in the playoffs.
