16u Knoxville Invite Scout Notes: Day 1 | Day 2 | Day 3

Beau Revord (2024, Jefferson City, Tenn.) has been one of the most impressive players during the week here at the Knoxville invitational. We have seen what he has been able to do with the bat, hitting .500 with a homer, two RBI and a stolen bag. In the quarterfinals he got the start for the East Tennessee Yankees 16u and didn’t disappoint. Revord went the full game, only getting into real trouble in the last inning. He punched out eight and only allowed one run in the start. The fastball got up to 91 mph, living right around 90 throughout his 96 pitch outing. The breaking ball was sharp, showing 11-5 shape and was landed in the zone consistently (2300 RPM). He also showed the ability to get batters fishing in deep counts with the curveball. The arm action is clean with effortless arm speed and feel for both pitches to all quadrants. Extremely high upside on both sides of the game for Revord, as he is starting to catch the eyes of everyone in the country. Look out for this name to blow up in the coming years as he continues to put together performances like this weeks.
