Mid-South Championship Scout Notes: Day 1





Carter McKay (2024, Arlington, Tenn.) is a physical presence in the box with above-average bat speed on a slightly lofted path. He put together quite the game this morning going 3-for-4 with a double, a triple, and 5 RBI. The strength and physicality show when he lets it fly, the swing is explosive to and through impact. The rhythm is there to match the explosiveness as well, and if he can avoid the swing-and-miss, we could be looking at a serious impactful player at a high level.
