Julius Ramirez (2023, San Juan, Texas) made the most out of 7 plate appearances on Day 1. Helping lead to the way to a 2-0 start at the top of the LB21 lineup, he held an excellent display of impact and quality at-bats. Great physical upside from the 6-foot-1 225-pound backstop, and it is really starting to complement his projectable hit tool. He seamlessly picked up where he left the summer circuit with a loud day at the plate. He had a pair of singles in game one and was responsible for 3 runs, showing good approach. He followed up flashing the power potential barreling a double and home run, posting 6 more runs. He does not miss the fastball often and is a risk to leave anything he can take pull side. Simple, fluid swing with present strength fits the profile and highlighted useful versatility in the corners and behind the plate. Ramirez is ranked the No. 96 catcher in the 2023 class and is currently uncommitted.

While his line may not stand out, it did not reflect on the look at No. 14-ranked 2025 left-handed pitcher, 6-foot-4 southpaw Taylor Tracey (2025, Austin, Texas). A lot of potential to tap into as he starts his prep career. He checks off the projection boxes physically and on the mound. He is a typical young, lengthy build but controls it well with real easy arm action fluid with delivery. Notably has worked up to the mid-80s range this summer, and he sat around 81-83 in his short stint. He has athletic actions downhill utilizing the length well and flashing good feel to spin the breaking ball. The mechanics are repeatable and should have no issue refining as he progresses. Given the makeup and development ahead there is certainly potential to be in the top 2025 arms conversation in the years to come.
