East MLK Scout Notes: Days 1-2

Gregory Caban (2024, Miami, Fla.) was all over the barrel on the final day of the event which consistent of three playoff games for his Florida Aces team. Racking up four hits and a pair of walks in those three games, Caban showed no problem handling the barrel in an impressive way with a long but naturally leveraged swing that translates to well-struck and lofted contact often. There’s some strength in the hands which allows him to whip the barrel as well as he does and as he gets stronger the singles and doubles should turn into much more paired with the ability to consistently get to the barrel already.
