The Razorbacks are certainly no stranger to being near the top of PG’s Recruiting Class Rankings, but it seems that Head Coach Dave Van Horn and Recruiting Coordinator Nate Thompson have put together something quite special with this 2023 class.

They boast three players that are ranked within the top-25 nationally, and it all starts with the cornerstone of their class and the fourth-ranked player in the country, Aidan Miller. The primary third baseman put up some ridiculous power numbers this summer, which included a three-home run performance during the 16U WWBA. In total, he smashed six home runs and 13 extra-base hits in his 63 at-bats this summer. In addition to the true, five-tool projection at the next level, he has some intriguing upside on the mound, where he can run his fastball up to 94 mph.

Along with the Florida-based Miller, Arkansas has really flexed their recruiting muscles with this class, showing an impressive national footprint. Just in their six top prospects alone, there is representation from all parts of the country, with Ryder Helfrick and Nolan Souza coming from California and Hawaii, respectively, Dylan Questad hailing from Wisconsin, and Tucker Holland coming from North Carolina. In addition to the national flair, they still have their region on lockdown, as shown by the commitments of Missouri-based Adam Hachman, and the No. 1 ranked player in the state of Arkansas, Ty Waid. This collection of talent speaks volumes to where Arkansas is at as a program and the culture that the coaching staff has built in recent years.
