Thomas Sheridan (2022, Tunkhannock, Pa.), a Canisius commit, showed off an impressive skill set behind the dish. He has fluid glove actions with a quick, smooth transition and release. Sheridan has a cannon of an arm, consistently made accurate throws with good footwork gaining ground. Consistently threw a 1.98 down to second base for a strike, threw out a handful of runners trying to steal second and third. He is very vocal behind the plate and commanded his pitchers well. The bat plays well, as he has a level compact swing with good bat speed. He has the potential to be a middle-of-the-order, run-producing type hitter with some athleticism. His ability to throw runners out was impressive.

Preston James (2022, Deerfield, Fla.) features a strong, athletic frame with room to add more. It is a projectable body that should only get stronger. He uses an easy, high-effort delivery with a clean, three-quarter arm slot. The fastball sat 83-86 mph topping out at 90 mph with arm-side run. He showed the ability to throw to both sides, living in on the hands generating swings and misses. The slider sat 74 mph with tight spin and late bite. He will need to create consistent movement in order to get hitters off the heater at the next level, but the fastball movement and command is intriguing.
