Ethan Bagwell (2024, Maryville, Ill.) lit up the radar guns, worked quickly and threw a lot of strikes. He pitched an impressive 4 inning no hitter, had 8 strike outs and only allowed two walks. Bagwell has an easy slow to fast repeatable delivery with a whippy arm finish. The fastball sat 86-88 mph topping out at 90 mph, living on the inside half to right-handed hitters. Worked in a tight 12/6 spin late breaking curveball that consistently froze the batters. Features a strong athletic build with room to add more muscle. His ability to light up the radar gun and generate swings and misses was impressive for his age.

Dylan Esquival (2022, Covina, Calif.), a Cal Poly Pomona commit, showed an impressive two-pitch arsenal. Features a lean athletic build with plenty of room to add more muscle. Has a smooth, easy, repeatable delivery with a three-quarter arm slot. The fastball sat 83-85 mph topping out at 88 mph, has a natural cut inside to right-handed hitters. Complemented the fastball with a late breaking slurve that sat 73-75 mph, generating swings and misses. Esquival was confident on the mound, worked quickly and commanded his pitches well.
