Ridge Morgan (2024, Austin, Texas) routinely impressed on the mound and is seamlessly over-matching against notable 2023 and 2022 talent this summer. The 6-foot-3 right-hander tossed another solid outing grabbing seven punchouts through five innings. His velocity is holding up even through the end of July grind on the arm conditioning. He was up to 85 mixing the secondary well, the command is present alongside fluid arm action. His operation is loose with a lot of quality whip in the delivery and the fastball is rarely flat. There is plenty to be excited about his future on the hill, Morgan is an excellent athlete with two-way talent, as he is hitting .444 with a .583 OBP. He finished his start with a walk-off at the plate. Morgan’s impact on the field is impressive and makes it easy to believe the No. 38 player in 2024 has plenty more show.
