Lonestar National 2024 – Sanders put together a complete performance in their last game of pool play, defeating the Aggies National 2024, 7-1. Austin Charles (2024, Avondale, Ariz.) came ready to play on Sunday morning for the Aggies, leading off the game with a first pitch home run. The switch-hitter has solid bat speed with big bat tilt on the load and easily creates lift at contact. He also started on the bump, showcasing his two-way potential. The recent San Diego State commit threw four innings, striking out three opposing batters and walking seven. The delivery is not as repeatable as it can be, but the clean arm and projectable 6-foot-4 frame is something to get excited about. Charles sat 81-85 mph with a 68 mph breaker from the right side.
