2021 MLB Draft: Top 300  | 2021 MLB Draft: Top 200 College Prospects

In the 2021 draft there are more eligible second year college prospects than ever before. This has to do with the fact that the draft was moved back about four to five weeks which means that more prospects will fall under the umbrella of the age rule, thus making them eligible for the draft in 2021. Traditionally these prospects would be referred to as Sophomore Eligible but because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the non-uniformity in classification of student athletes, we’ll refer to them as Second Year Eligible. This is because some schools are listing prospects as redshirt freshmen, some are simply still calling them freshmen, and others are classifying them as sophomores. The prospects on this list are in their second year of college baseball and because of age are eligible for the draft, these are the top 50 in the country approximately nine months out from the draft.
