2021 MLB Draft: Top 300

College baseball ended in the beginning of March with little baseball being played following the cancellation of the season. Following the season’s cancellation, many of the summer leagues across the country were canceled including the prestigious Cape Cod League, so most of the top collegiate draft prospects either worked out on their own schedule or played in more localized summer leagues as to avoid travel. This, combined with the ban on travel for Major League scouts for a few months, resulted in a bit of stagnation with regards to helium for the draft. Most of the college players on this list are only working with their freshmen years and four weeks of non-conference play for their statistical resumes so the variance and fluctuation of names on this list will undoubtedly change drastically from this month to next July. That being said, the list features the top 200 draft prospects from Division I schools, a list that will likely change in a couple months as fall ball is starting around the country.
