Koontz is a physically mature 6-2/190 athlete with a nice combination of present strength/athleticism and baseball skills. His left handed bat is very strong and he drove the ball hard to all fields while dominating at-bats. The Campbell commit was also up to 88 mph off the mound with a tight curveball.

Howard has a strong and long 6-5/210 athletic build and very good present strength in his swing. He posted the highest exit velocity in DK testing at 94 mph off the barrel and definitely had the hardest hit ball in 60 innings at Truist Point Stadium, a screaming line drive up the middle that might have been 100 off the barrel.

Byrd is a quality overall athlete who is already ranked in the top 200 in the 2022 class rankings and has an East Carolina commitment. He's light on his feet with polished skills defensively at shortstop and swings a strong right handed bat with gap to gap power.

This showcase had a number of very good catching prospects and Stone was one of the best. He has very good defensive tools and skills and the 6-2/182 right handed hitter showed nice bat speed and power potential at the plate as well. Keep close tabs on him as he gets stronger.

Way is a quick twitch, high energy young athlete who can do just about everything on the baseball field. The 5-10/180 Way runs a 6.74 sixty and has outstanding athleticism and quickness behind the plate defensively. His arm strength is plus and he could probably play all nine positions on the field defensively, as he was also 87 mph off the mound. The Virginia Tech commit has a bright baseball future.
Matthew Hall

Hall has a tall and lean 6-2/185 build with plenty of room to get stronger to go witha well balanced drop and drive delivery to the plate. He topped out at 88 mph with very good sinking life at times and flashed a 76 mph slider that has a chance to be a nasty pitch with more consistency.

Budzik is a very live bodied young athlete who ran an event best 6.65 in the sixty and showed his speed very well in the games. He's stronger than his listed 5-8/145 frame indicates and really drove the ball hard in games, picking up multiple extra base hits.

Scholtz looks the part of a power pitcher with a big 6-5/215 build and throws from a very deceptive tight mid 3/4's arm slot that really hides the ball well. His 88 mph fastball explodes on hitters with big running life and he will continue to improve as he learns to be more aggressive in using his fastball to attack hitters early in counts.

Holland is a projectable all around athlete with plenty of strength potential on his 6-2/170 build. A right handed hitter who runs a 6.75 sixty, Holland has a loose and extended swing with good present bat speed and lots of left centerfield carry. He was also up to 84 mph off the mound.
Camden Saylor

Saylor has a very projectable 6-3/165 build and nice overall athleticism. He ran the sixty in 7.04 and threw 90 mph from the outfield and 85 from the middle infield while showing good right handed bat speed. He's going to keep improving as he gets stronger.

Whitfield has an outstanding 6-5/188 build and some young athleticism to go with it. He was up to 84 mph on the mound but the mechanics are smooth and he gets great downhill angle on his fastball, with plenty more to come. His curveball was a solid secondary pitch he threw for strikes.

Grubbs is a well rounded athlete with an athletic 6-0/165 build that can and will get stronger. He has good right handed bat speed from a calm and balanced approach and plenty of arm strength on defense. He was also up to 85 mph on the mound with a big breaking curveball.

Sword is a strong young athlete who literally played all over the field on defense while showing a strong right handed bat. He topped out at 84 mph from a slow paced, low effort delivery to go with a solid curveball. Sword would probably benefit as a pitching prospect from playing few positions.

Smith is a left-handed hitting catcher who showed the ability to get the barrel head out front well in batting practice, generateing good carry on line drives to the pull side while also popping down to a 2.02 with upper-70s arm strength from behind the dish and topping at 83 with feel for a good 12/6 curveball on the mound.

Baker is a young left handed hitting catcher with outstanding raw bat speed and power potential. He has the athleticism, flexibility and arm strength to develop into a high level defensive catcher with continued concentration on fundamentals and game repetitions.

Nelson has a very nice 6-1/165 athletic build and a fast and loose right arm that has a chance to be special. A 7.14 runner, Nelson was 92 mph from the outfield and up to 87 mph on the mound but maybe the most telling thing about his arm strength and the quality of his arm action was watching him throw 300 foot lines playing long toss before a game.

Lucas already has a North Carolina State commitment.

Williams is a nice all around athlete with present strength in his 5-10/178 build with more to come. He has outstanding bat speed for a 2023 and the ball really comes off his barrel hard. He's also a 7.04 runner with good arm strength and was 85 mph off the mound as a secondary pitcher.
