White Sox Daylen Lile (2021 Louisville, KY) continues to show barrel skills and hand adjustability as he showed by pulling his hands in hard on a well-located pitch on the inside corner, keeping the barrel back, and turned tight to smoke a double to right field. His bat speed combined with his eye-hand coordination are not missing a beat this late in the summer.



The Reds did damage at the plate during their second game of the Area Code Games. Wes Kath (2021 Scottsdale, AZ) and Tyler Whitaker (2021 Las Vegas, NV) led a constant offensive attack. Kath had a couple knocks on the day, one coming as a single over the shortstop's head with which he showed some hitter-ish qualities, sitting back on a pitch and flicking his wrists to collect the hit. The other he just missed a home run to right centerfield, leveraging a pitch and lofting it a long way
