17u Central Elite/18u World Series Scout Notes: Day 1

Vendetta 2020’s sparkplug at the top of their order, Philip Guerrero (2020, Harlingen, TX) led the club’s offensive explosion as they sprinted past Scorpions Team EASTON, 11-3. The recent grad of Harlingen HS, who is headed to play at Alvin CC, collected two big hits on the day, knocking in a pair and scoring twice. The quick twitch speedster is always a threat on the bases and is an aggressively opportunistic runner. He is also skilled defensively showing quick feet, soft hands, and a sure arm.
