13u Elite Scout Notes

Slade Caldwell (2024 Jonesboro, Ark.) showed a sweet swing all weekend barreling balls up to every part of the park and cruising around the bases with ease. The primary centerfielder showed a knack for collecting extra bases as he finished the weekend with eight extra base hits, two doubles, four triples, and two homeruns which he again showed the ability to really get around the bases. In the outfield his speed plays and he does a good job of putting himself in good alignments with great reads off the bat. With a young frame and plenty of room to fill out and add more strength Caldwell will be an interesting prospect to follow moving forward.
