Aiden McSherry (2020, Roswell, Ga.) did not get much help from his defense when the ball was put in play but his fastball and curveball combination is pretty impressive and has lots to project on in the future. McSherry stands at 6-6 and reaches 91 mph with his fastball that sat in the 87-91 mph range for most of his 76 pitch outing. He worked primarily off of the fastball, not going to the breaking ball very often. When he did go to the offspeed, the pitch showed good downward bite although he does have a tendency to slow the arm down on the offering. McSherry has a live arm that projects for more velocity as he continues to fill out into his frame. The arm speed projects in addition to his build as he pitches from a crossfire delivery with easy effort at release. The 2020 graduate is a signee to Young Harris College who has to be excited about getting McSherry on campus.
