The Canton, GA native has a sturdy 6-0 frame with a high waist and long arms and has a look that he still is growing. He has an easy process with a small leg lift and hip load. He drops a touch on the back side and holds his coil as he gets down the mound. He gets good extension and a little bit of deception as he hides the ball and has a release that seems to come from behind a righthanded hitters back. He pitches with intent and the ball comes out hard and clean, topping at 87 mph on Thursday. His most impressive offering is his mid 70s breaker that has the look of a future power slider. It is tight and flashed hard break. When he learns to repeat with his base and the timing of his process, he will make significant jumps quickly.
