Justin Hackett is a 2022 RHP/3B with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Winterset, IA who attends Winterset. Big and strong physical frame. Very balanced and controlled delivery, long in line arm action with drop and drove lower half mechanics, will fall off to the first base side at times. Heavy low 90's fastball, gets some sink down and ride up, showed the ability to spot the fastball to both sides of the plate. Featured two outstanding secondary pitches he threw for strikes. Curveball had big and sharp downer life and bit, change up was a very nice pitch with deception and big fading action. Polished pitcher with three present pitches and an idea how to use them. Excellent student, signed with TCU. Named to the National Pre-Draft Showcase Top Prospect List.
