Carter Hodge is a 2013 C/3B with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Scottdale, AZ who attends IMG Academy. Medium build, good present strength. Good footwork behind the plate, moves well, 7.28 runner, quick release, 1.85 best pop time, accurate throws, handles pitchers well and has soft hands, aggressive throwing behind runners, can improve blocking technique. Right handed hitter, flashes some pull gap power, tends to pull off the ball, will improve with better swing mechanics. Good student.
