Ryder Robinson is a 2023 SS/2B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Cedar Hills, UT who attends American Fork. Large, athletic frame with long limbs and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward; ran a 6.82 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, longer arm action through the back, plays with some twitch, could slide to third base at physical maturation, shows ability to drop when needed, arm strength will continue to develop moving forward, makes the plays and comfort going to the backhand. Switch-hitter, showed best from the right side of the plate, full swing path through the zone with a linear path, shows best bat speed from this side and creates line drive contact when on plane, shows comfort and ability to work the other way; high hand set and back elbow set up from the left side, upright set up with a compact stroke, contact oriented approach with some present handle for the barrel.
