Logan Ervine is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Villa Rica, GA who attends Villa Rica. Medium and stocky frame with a strong lower half. Ran a 7.03 second 60 yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, starts his delivery with a turn step up to a high leg lift, takes his arm back to a compact arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, gets downhill with good extension working well over his front side, lands slightly closed to the plate but does not effect his strike throwing ability. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, mixes in a curveball with 12-6 shape and depth to the pitch, straight changeup mixed in as well, solid three pitch mix that he can throw for strikes. Secondary outfielder, worked out in the outfield, low effort actions, stays online with his release and shows solid arm strength, quick and compact release with uphill carry. Righthanded hitter, open stance at the plate, inside hand path to the baseball, upper half dominant swing, will get mistimed with later hand load, strong lower half that he could utilize more of into his swing for added pop.
