Jomar Cortes is a 2016 SS with a 6-2 168 lb. frame from Arecibo, PR who attends Padre Anibal Reyes Belen. Tall, slender, athletic frame with more room to add strength. Ran a 7.15 60 yard dash. Shows sound actions at shortstop and projects to continue adding arm strength. Flashes carry on his throws and hands work well. Bats from both sides of the plate, looks similar from both sides. Has a flat, line drive swing path and projects to continue adding strength. Stays short and compact to the ball. Very good student.
