RHP Troy Grundy: Grundy is a medium build right handed pitcher from Utah with good natural arm strength. He has a very long arm stroke in back but generates good arm speed coming through to the plate. Grundy will fall off to the first base side fairly regularly in his delivery, which causes his fastball to be up and in to right handers, but his velocity is solid at 86-88 mph. When he’s directional to the plate, Grundy’s curveball is sharp at 71-73 mph and is probably his best pitch. He also throws an 81 mph change up. Grundy has signed to attend University of Utah.
