Alfredo Bermudez (2023, Miami, Fla.) has a projectable 6-foot-4, lanky frame, coming from an over-the-top slot. The delivery is slow and controlled, does a good job getting extension and staying on top of his pitches. His fastball ticked up to 85 mph, mostly living in the low-80s with some arm-side run. He paired this pitch with a slurvy curveball that registered in the low-70s, and generated some swings. Bermudez is a competitor and looks to attack hitters with his best stuff and pitch to his strengths. Ended the day going 6 innings pitched, allowing just 2 earned runs and punching out 11 opposing hitters.
