Kade Thompson (2024, Gilbert, Ariz.) showcased an intriguing offensive profile with the ability to produce regularly. The Arizona commit displayed a short, compact swing with quality bat speed present. Advanced bat to ball skills make Thompson a tough out with two strikes. There is plenty of intent within the swing, resulting in frequently hard hit balls. Strong hands help generate quality power that can play into both gaps. Thompson showcased good athleticism and speed around the bases. It is a well-rounded offensive skill set that profiles well near the top of the order.
