Brennan Hill (2024, Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich.) had quite the day at the plate in the huge victory for D Las Vegas 2024. The lean 6-foot-3, 170-pound left-handed pitcher/outfielder went 3-for-3 with a double in the win. The two-way upside is there with Hill, throwing very well early on in the tournament and then putting on this display in the first round of the playoffs. The swing is short and compact, turns the barrel over well with some pull-side pop. The Michigan native has short path to the ball with good feel for the barrel and some twitch in the game. He still has some room to add some muscle onto the frame. The pitching background transfers over to the outfield nicely with a good arm. He also is a good athlete with decent speed and covers ground in right field. He projects to stick at a corner outfield spot if he’s not on the mound. In my first look at Hill, I came away very impressed as he was one of the driving forces behind the big win.
