16u Knoxville Invite Scout Notes: Day 1





Braylon Mitchell (2024, Houston, Texas) showed why his coaches revere him as quite possibly the best player on the team. He showed out on Day 2 going 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and a triple while drawing a walk, scored 3 times and drove in 5 runs. Braylon has a strong stance in the box and doesn’t try to do too much. Good slide load keeping his head still, allowing him to locate where the pitch is going and then deliver the barrel to it for hard contact. Braylon plays well on the left side of the infield and can move around to the outfield if needed. Projectable body and frame spell big things in the future for Mitchell with continued strength growth and development.
