Doby Bartling (2023, Bartling, Miss.) had a great weekend start to finish, compiling 11 RBI over the course of the event to go with a pair of extra-base hits. The approach was sound at the plate, laying off tough pitches to gain count leverage, then hunting fastball. His fingerprints were all over his squad’s championship victory and a well-deserved MVP award for the young corner infielder. The swing is compact with some explosiveness through the zone. There's an advanced feel for the barrel with plenty of room to fill the frame.
