Hunter Manning (2025, Valencia, Calif.) came on for the last two innings of the Legacy Baseball Group 15U Black's lopsided Day 1 win. Manning faced just one batter over the minimum as he punched out four. The fastball works with downhill plane to the bottom of the zone, giving hitters a tough look and little chance to elevate the baseball as they are unable to get the barrel on plane. The breaking ball lands with some two-plane shape and room to continue to develop moving forward. The changeup on the other hand seems a little further along with maintained arm speed and fading action in the mid-70s. The fastball was the featured offering in this outing as he worked ahead of hitters consistently with 60% strikes. After throwing just 35 pitches, Manning looks like a likely option to return for his club should they make a deeper playoff run .
