Patrick Hassan (2027, Statham, Ga.) has a young athletic build that pairs well with his quick arm to make him quite the intriguing prospect on the mound. The fastball got up to 82 mph in this outing and has been up to as high as 84 mph in past events. In what is presumed to be his first of at least two outings, Hassan picked up 1 2/3 innings, striking out three hitters with most of the damage coming from that heater of a fastball. He also mixed in a curveball with maintained arm speed that projects as a nice secondary offering. At the plate the youngster has also added four hits with a triple and a double to his name, proving he is more than just a PO to this point in his career.
