Ryan Harwood (2026, Chandler, Ariz.) put on an outstanding offensive performance throughout bracket play. There have been obvious adjustments made to the swing, showing a much simpler timing mechanism pre-pitch. This allows for quick pitch recognition, leading to advanced strike zone awareness. Harwood showcased the ability to work deep into counts often and draw a fair amount of walks. While the approach is good, the swing looks even better. Quick bat speed through the zone allows for balls to be hit with authority to all fields. A strong, XL frame combines with good extension out front to produce advanced power for the age. It plays gap-to-gap and produces extra-base hits often. Even with the bigger frame, Harwood showed the ability to run well with multiple stolen bases on the day. Harwood jumped on the mound to close out the championship as well. Advanced arm strength was on display with the fastball topping out at 89 mph. Quick arm speed allows the ball to jump on hitters. Overall, is an impressive profile that seems to make an impact on every game Harwood plays in.
