The postseason is in sight for the vast majority of JUCO baseball and, in fact, the postseason is already here in some spots with conference tourneys on tap this week. This will be the final regular season Top 25, with this space reserved for postseason projection content in the next several weeks.

The top of the list is unchanged from last week, with the top-7 spots all the same as they were a week ago. Walters State, Crowder, Wabash Valley, Eastern Oklahoma State and Chipola all rounding out the top-5. McLennan and Ohlone remain unchanged at No. 6 and No. 7, with Central Arizona, Florence-Darlington and Cowley rounding out the top-10.

Florida SouthWestern and Central Florida are just outside of the top-10 and both look like favorites to make it to Lakeland for the state tournament and a chance at Grand Junction. Salt Lake at No. 14 is a notable jump, as they have joined the top-15 for the first time this spring. CAC and Arizona Western are the favorites to come out of Arizona, but whoever does will have to see (most likely) Salt Lake in the regional. Dyersburg State rounds out the top-15 at No. 15 overall.

Several teams in the lower portion of the rankings made notable moves up the board, including Pearl River (No. 19 to No. 17), Harford (No. 21 to No. 18) and Grayson (No. 23 to No. 21). We also have several newcomers to the rankings this week, including Chattanooga State at No. 23, Paris at No. 24 and Frederick at No. 25.

For the first time in a little over a month, we have a new number 1.

For the fifth straight week the list is headlined by Central Arizona, with a record of 17-2 in those five weeks.

Another week down as we head towards May and conference tournaments. The field of the Top 25 remained fairly status quo with one new addition, the Cowley Tigers, as they rejoin the list at No. 24.
