12u Tourney All-American Team

This year’s tournament season brought tons of exciting action across the country, as plenty of talent littered rosters from near and far. We hosted our second annual Perfect Game Invitational National Championship at the always beautiful Boombah Complex in Sanford, while our PG World Series tournament continued to be held at the historic East Cobb Complex in Marietta, GA. The impressive numbers put up by the selections for the 2022 All-Tourney All-American teams were quite impressive across the board. Player of the Year Lucas Smith and this season’s PG Select Festival MVP Caleb Alexander led the way with a staggering 22 all-tournament selections, while a trio of Luis Olmeda, Angel Gonzalez and Geronimo Fermin were named to 20 all-tournament teams.

Our National Player of the Year Lucas Smith put up simply ridiculous numbers throughout the entirety of the 2022 season, as the McKinney, Texas native hit .549 for the year with an eye-popping 141 hits and drove in an absurd amount of runs with 150 RBI. 59 of his hits went for extra-bases and he finished 2022 with a 1.611 OPS. Smith was a 12U PG Select Festival participant back in August as well and the future is certainly bright for the young C/1B.



Alejandro Diego takes home the National Pitcher of the Year award after putting together an outstanding 15-0 record across nearly seventy-three innings. The young right-hander struck one-hundred and twelve hitters across his appearances, while working to a 1.49 WHIP. The Lutz, Florida native had nearly a 3-to-1 K:BB ratio and held opponents at-bay to the tune of a 2.20 ERA.
