03/09/2007 Was up to 92 in his first outing of the spring in front of 30 or so scouts. He struck out 14 in 5 innings and allowed only one hit (a bunt single).
02/15/2007 Duffy is the newest hot item in California. In the recent PG California All Star Games the big lefty was a consistent 90-91 and showed 4 quality pitches. He projects to throw harder, but he’s the real deal right now! He has signed with Cal Poly.

We were starting to think he had hit the wall this past summer, but he came back with an outstanding performance for the Cangelosi Orioles in Jupiter and recently was seen throwing lights out at 90-92. He has become a stop for Scouting Directors now. He signed early with Southern Illinois. We will see him again this weekend.
