David Gibbs is a 2006 right handed pitcher/shortstop from Harrison, New York, with a lean and athletic 6'0"/175 pound frame. On the mound, Gibbs throws from a 3/4 arm slot with clean arm action and minimal effort. He has a balanced and online delivery and showed very good command. David's fastball has arm side life at 84 mph. He also throws a 12-6 breaking curveball and he can change speeds with it. Gibbs has projectable velocity on the hill. As a right handed hitter, David hits with a straight stance, a no stride approach at the plate, and a line drive swing plane.
