Venezuela is a 6-0, 155 lb middle infielder from Virginia with a slender, live body. He's a 7.25 runner in the 60 who shows quick actions, especially on defense. Venezuela is a slick fielder with quick hands, lots of range and good balance. He is especially adept at charging the slow rollers and making good throws on the run. He has enough arm strength to play shortstop at the next level, especially with his quickness. Offensively, Venezuela has wiry strength in his hands and wrists and has some bat speed. He is a very busy hitter, with a big leg raise and hand hitch that often leave him late to the ball and will force him to make some adjustments as the pitcher's become faster. Venezuela is a hard working player who hustles and has fun playing the game, which we appreciated. He's a good student as well.

Daniel Venezuela is a slender 6'0", 150 lb., 2006 middle infielder from Suffolk, Virginia, who looks like a very nice defensive player. In fact, Venezuela’s the type of player who plays defensive with some excitement and flair, and really enjoys having the ball hit to him. He has good smoothness to his actions and is particularly good charging the ball and making a quick release on the run. His arm is a bit short from the hole right now, but he’s projectable. Added strength will help Venezuela with the bat. His swing is better suited for aluminum right now, but he does show some hand strength and the ball comes off the bat well. Venezuela plays quicker than his recorded speed times, and we’ve seen has low as 7.15 in the 60 at events in the past.
