Daniel Rodrigues is a 2006 middle infielder/third baseman from West Barnstable, MA. He has a 5'10", 175 pound frame, and was named to the Underclass Top Prospect Team. Rodrigues showed good speed, and first step quickness in the sixty and on the bases. Offensively, he has a slightly open stance, with a balanced fluid swing, above average bat speed, and good plate discipline. Defensively, he showed very good instincts and reactions at third base with a good nose for the ball. Rodrigues is an all-out hustle player, and is definitely one to watch in the future. Daniel is a good student.

Daniel Rodrigues -- Rodriques is a sophomore middle infielder from Massachusetts with good strength in his upper body. He hits from a medium open stance with no load or stride, which limits the type of bat speed he’s going to be able to create with wood. Rodrigues showed us good actions and hands in the infield and some arm strength as well. He profiles better to second base right now but has better first step quickness than his 60 time indicates. In fact he was timed 4.4 home to first. Daniel is a good student.
