2006 Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect Showcase
Alex Kramp is a 2007 OF/RHP that attends Pennsbury HS and resides in Yardley, PA with a 6'0", 195 lb. frame. Alex has a strong athletic build and showed some solid raw hitting tools. At the plate Alex has quick wrists and showed solid line-drive contact. With his strength Alex has the ability to put up some solid power numbers in high school. In the outfield Alex really gets after the ball and hustles all the time. At this point his arm strength will probably limit him to first base. Alex had a brief outing on the mound where he threw from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm action. He does not look very comfortable on the mound right now and will probably want to stick to the field. Alex is a player that might attract attention from some smaller colleges.
