Alex Day is a 2005 outfielder from Toronto with an athletic 6'0" frame with long arms and a slender, projectable body. His best tool was his raw bat speed and chance to develop some serious power down the line as his body fills out. He hits out of a wide stance and has some loft and upper cut in his swing. Day showed a good ability to make adjustments during game at bats and hit the ball well to all fields. Defensively, Alex showed a good back hand with nice hands and a playable arm. Alex is an excellent student.

Alex is an "05" INF from Ontario. He has a lean body that still has lots of room to grow stronger. He can make the plays and looked very good on the back hand. He needs to improve his arm strength and quickness. At the plate he showed some bat speed, but with a tendency to lunge a little. He needs to stay back longer. Alex is a very good student.
