Fast twitch actions in outfield, loads up to throw, short quick arm action, good arm strength, ball carries to bag. Solid infield actions, moves well to field, quick transfer, gets rid of it. Ball travels well off his bat, good path generates hard line drive contact, backspin, drives balls into gap, easier power, good extension and batspeed.

Dakota Dvorak is a 2009 SS/1B/3B/RHP from Highlands Christian HS in Pompano Beach, FL with a 6'5", 175 lb. frame. Dakota has a tall lean frame and a lot of room to fill out his frame. At the plate Dakota has a lot of raw potential but will need to make some adjustments. He tends to get out very early on his front side taking away his power. When he learns to get the weight back and hit the ball deep in the zone he will really see a change at the plate. In the field Dakota has clean actions with solid transfers, he probably projects the best at first base at this time. Dakota throws from a short arm circle with a 3/4 arm slot on the mound. He has a great pitchers build and we have seen him throw harder in the past. His pitchability is going to need some work but there is alot of raw upside for this player. Dakota looks like he could be a solid mid-level college prospect in time.

Dakota Dvorak is a 6'4" 170 pound 2009 shortstop, first baseman, third baseman, and right handed pitcher from Pompano Beach High School in Pompano Beach, Florida. He has a tall lean body that is very projectable. Dakota showed good arm strength by throwing 81 mph from the outfield during the workout. He has a short arm and his throws have good carry. At the plate, Dvorak hits with a tall stance and a quiet set up which is very athletically balanced. He has a flat line drive swing plane and good bat speed and strength for his age. He attacks the ball and uses the entire field. He has big time power potential that should blossom as he matures. Dakota pitches from a low 3/4 arm slot with a fast arm. His fastball had good arm side run at 78 mph while his change up showed good sink at 71 mph. He throws a curveball at 67 mph but with his arm action it looks like a slider could be thrown with good effectiveness. Dakota is a good looking young player who is also an excellent student with a 4.0 gpa.
