2006 Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect Showcase
Kendall Wilkins is a 2008 OF/RHP that attends McLean HS and resides in Falls Church, VA with a 5'11", 155 lb. frame. Kendall has a lean build with room to fill out. At the plate Kendall is more of a contact hitter at this point. He needs to work on leveling his swing plane and getting his weight back better. He will need to change his approach at the plate if he wants to see improvement. In the outfield Kendall shows off solid arm strength, but needs to work on getting rid of the ball quicker. Left field looks like his best position in the field at this point. On the mound Kendall throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm circle. He shows a nice 11 to 5 CB with average command. Kendall's arm action is a little stiff at this time and if loosens up some he could add some velocity. He is a player that will attract attention from many smaller colleges.
