Deion Williams is a 2011 MIF/3B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Stone Mountain, GA who attends Redan HS. Long athletic build, projects well. Live bodied athlete, light on his feet, 6.83 runner. Moves well in the infield, good release, shows raw arm strength/carry on throws, stays balanced well. Very raw hitting mechanics, early stride/preloads hands, swings down to the ball, loose athlete with a poor swing path at Tropicana, has raw bat speed and shows barrel skills, could blossom greatly with some good hitting instruction. Follow closely, could be a major surprise. Good student.
