Thomas Mora is a 2009 RHP with a 6'0'', 167 lb. frame from San Francisco CA, who attends George Washington HS. He has a lean build on an average, athletic body type. Mora should continue to add strength and some size in the coming years. He is not traditionally projectable, but with his loose arm and the easy way his arm works, there is some upside for him on the hill. Mora has an over the head wind-up that allows him to create some rhythm in his delivery. He has a short stride and is able to get his hand to good frontside extension, creating good down angle with his 77-80 mph fastball (T81). At times he cut the fastball. The shape of his curveball is good and he showed feel of the change-up, which may have been a splitter as it had some depth. Mora has some feel for the ball and should steadily develop and gain velocity. Mora is a good student and potential D1 prospect.
